Who controls your data
ATMOSLIVING LTD, 20 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU, England, is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: support@atmosliving.co.
What we collect
- Order and account data — name, billing and delivery address, email, telephone, order history.
- Payment data — handled by our payment providers. We receive confirmation of payment and the last digits of the card, never the full number.
- Customer service data — the content of your messages to us.
- Technical and usage data — IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring site.
- Marketing preferences — whether you have subscribed, and how you interact with our emails.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To perform our contract with you — processing orders, taking payment, arranging delivery, handling returns.
- To comply with legal obligations — keeping accounting and tax records, and records required by consumer law.
- For our legitimate interests — preventing fraud, securing the site, understanding how the site is used, improving our products and service. We balance these against your rights.
- With your consent — marketing emails and non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Who we share it with
We share data only with parties that need it to run the shop: Shopify (our ecommerce platform and host), payment providers, delivery carriers, and email and analytics providers. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes, except where they are controllers in their own right under their own terms.
We may also disclose data where required by law, or in connection with a sale or reorganisation of our business.
Transfers outside the UK
Some providers are based outside the UK. Where data is transferred, we rely on adequacy decisions or on standard contractual clauses with appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
Order and transaction records: six years after the end of the financial year in which the order was placed, to meet accounting and tax obligations. Customer service correspondence: three years. Marketing data: until you unsubscribe, then a suppression record so we do not contact you again. Technical logs: up to 24 months.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these, email support@atmosliving.co. We respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF — ico.org.uk.
